Comment out line 53 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl_perl.conf

#           push @Listen, "$ip:443";

There is a line in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf on line 27

Listen 443

Which says to listen on port 443 on ALL IPs.

So that additional Listen in ssl_perl.conf causes a port binding issue.

Subject: Strange SSL problem

Server: BlueQuartz-5100R-20040620 on Fedora Core 1

I imported an SSL site using cmuImport and when http starts to run again
I get the following error:

(98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address
0.0.0.0:443
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs
[FAILED]

If I remove the site or comment out Listen 443 from
/etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf it starts up.

It's almost like the 2nd (or more IP) causes the SSL to fail.

Any ideas on how to get around this?

Bill
